The Full Story

School readings are the best part of my job! I offer engaging and interactive school visits for primary pupils, bringing stories to life through local author readings and discussion. I genuinely enjoy visiting schools and working with children, whether that is reading from my books, talking about characters and ideas, or answering pupils’ questions about how stories are created. Each visit is designed to be lively, accessible and appropriate for the age group, encouraging pupils to see books and reading as something exciting and meaningful.

At the heart of every visit is a love of storytelling and a commitment to promoting literacy. Stories help children develop imagination, empathy and confidence. I enjoy exploring why stories matter just as much as how they are written. My sessions aim to inspire pupils to read for pleasure, value their own ideas and understand that stories are powerful tools for learning, expression and connection.
